The contact owns a 2007 Ford E-150. While pulling out of the driveway, the contact noticed a large fuel leakage and a strong fuel odor. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who stated that the fuel rail needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 08V057000 (fuel system, gasoline). The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 84,000.
