October 28 I had my third brake failure since February of this year. Driving to work on the hwy going 110km (60mph) I went to apply the brakes, the pedal moved approximately 1 / 2" and no further.I was lucky it was 4:40am and there was no traffic, I shifted to manual mode and geared the truck down. The truck again towed to the dealerships for the third time.

I have called ford and tale to the dealership that me and my family have lost confidence in the vehicle ànd want it replaced. The dealership is really trying to help but ford customer service can only read from scripted cue cards.

ford this time sad they found a vacuum leak in the 4x4 that would have could have caused the problem. My issue is they had the truck for nearly two weesk when they fixed the vacuum leak but before the apparent fix they could not replicate he problem so how do they know they fixed the problem? I asked for a writer guarantee but ford will not do that. The customer service at ford will not give a guarantee. I told ford I want the truck replaced if they can't guarantee the repair in writing.

to this point I have been lucky not to have been seriously injured or hurt someone else.

Forder customer serve final answer is if this happens again they will continue to try and fix the brakes AT NO COST to me.

F150 ecoboost drivers beware.
