On 5th of Feb 2015, my car met one accident on the highway and front part is totally damaged, you can refer picture which i have uploaded with this post. But, airbag is not get activated. When i went to service center they informed me that, air bag is not activated due to front bumper, which was fitted. But, as per my knowledge when car front part is damaged then sensor should work car air bag should get activated. My doubt is, there is any problem with air bag or really it's is not activated due to air bag. if it is not activated due to front bumper, then why ford is allowing dealers to sell this bumper in their showroom?
