While driving the car, it started stalling and making a cranking noise, was able to make it home but then, the next day, when tried to start the car, the oil light turned off, the noise was extremely loud and it turned off by itself. Called dealer and they told me about the recall and that there's no fix until mid Summer. Ford hasn't issued to stop driving the car but how can I drive a car that I don't feel safe to drive, what about if I cause an accident or if someone hits me because the car turns off" This is a serious and stressful matter, I've been having to take Uber to be able to make it to my doctor's appointments. I took the car back in Sept of last year to Alan Jay Ford in Sebring and after paying $257.84, they said the car just needed the computer to be resetted, then, car was making weird noise again and took it to AutoNation Ford Margate and after $1440.92, they said it was just a tube that needed to be reconnected. Were these repairs actually related to this recall "engine oil pump belt tensioner arm to fracture, resulting in a loss of engine oil pressure" this can increase "the risk of a crash". How is it possible that so a huge company as Ford is, doesn't have this part that is causing other major issues" I really need my car to be fixed or replaced with another car or get a loaner plus I would like an investigation to determine if the two places that I took the car failed to fix it correctly and could've put my life and my family's in danger.

Wednesday [XXX] as I am driving to pick up my son from work -?" my car was making a rattling noise - I took it to get an oil change prior to picking up my son as it was coming up due for one -?" and as I begin driving to pick up my son the Low Engine oil pressure light came on. I contacted ford motor company and created a case immediately. They informed me my next steps were to take car to dealership for a diagnosis. They assured me that the issue would be taken care of that ford has given them separate instructions for this recall specifically as they are aware it is serious and potentially costly that the dealership can contact (SSC?)- their internal department and request for repair coverage and rental coverage -?" Thursday [XXX] I took my vehicle as requested. A loner vehicle was delivered to me on 2.18 thanks to Dan at Elder Ford of Tampa. Today [XXX] I am notified by my service advisor that the vehicle needs a new engine due to the issue. He put in two case requests one for rental and one for repair coverage but they have not heard back from ford motor company -?" I called ford motor company client relations again today and keep being told that because it-??s an advanced recall they will notify dealers when they have the remedy and/or parts by second quarter this year -?" I understand for those who the issue has not yet impacted their vehicles however that doesn-??t apply to me I have an inoperable vehicle and I-??m stuck waiting to get confirmation of coverage for a repair I cannot afford and for a rental I cannot afford for a defective product sold to me by ford. I drive my 7 year old to and from school and after school activities I am grateful we didn-??t crash or something worse didn-??t happen to us. Here I am 5 days later with no resolution and no commitment from Ford Motor Company on the coverage for the loner vehicle or the repairs. Received an oil pressure error message. Came on and went off multiple times. Finally came on and stayed on. Car started driving sluggishly and check engine light came on. Before I could find a place to safely pull over, the wrench icon appeared and my car lurched forward twice and then the battery light came on. I was able to put on my flashers and pull off the side of the road right before the car died. It would not even restart. I had to call for a tow and it was taken to a local Ford Dealership. It was inspected and verified that the issue was due to the recall on the vehicle and that a new motor and turbo are needed. The dealership was however told that Ford would not cover the cost of repairs because the recall is still in advance status. They were instructed to tell me I could pay the $5,600 for repairs and keep receipts to try to get reimbursed at a later date. They will not repair at their cost nor will they issue me a loaner vehicle.

recall Out of nowhere my car began to struggle to accelerate and ultimately in the middle of driving up a rather steep hill, my car cut off on me completely i almost collided with another car trying to get out of the middle of the road because the car was showing down significantly. the engine light and the oil light came on and a "low engine oil pressure" alert was coming on as well. this problem began three months before cutting off on me on the road and ford tried to tell me it was from not getting frequent oil changes and that was not correct my car was up to date. they quoted be me $10,000 for repairs and offered me $800 for my car based off of these problems when a trade in was suggested. i know they were trying to take advantage of me. i have no other vehicle i need this car to transport my child. when i check my service records on the app it conveniently states that the work done was unknown but i paid to have the problem diagnosed and for a rental which wasn't covered because i was only 300 miles over the warranty. i have spent countless dollars on rentals and ubers because my car is not drivable. i need my car fixed completely and reimbursement for money spent on rental cars and ubers for a problem ford had BEEN known about.

Low engine oil pressure light came on and engine clanking noises occurred while I was traveling on the interstate. I immediately pulled the vehicle over to a safe location. Vehicle was towed to local Ford Dealership Service Center. Was told by the service manager that Ford has been having issue with oil pump not sending oil to the engine and that I would likely need a new engine. Due to backlog of service requests, Ford has not inspected my vehicle to verify the specific issue.

My vehicle is about three years old and with no prior warnings that something may be wrong, I received a -??Low Engine Oil Pressure-?? warning while driving down the highway that caused me to pull the vehicle over. Acceleration was affected and the car was not operating properly and so I received a tow to a shop. The shop called to inform me that it is in need of a total engine repair and would cost me about $8500 for a used engine since Ford does not currently have any new ones available. I spoke with Ford customer service as well as my dealership who both informed there were no current options for financial assistance from Ford at this time. I am now left with a vehicle that requires more money in repairs than I have to pay it off. Ford is well aware of this issue and I know I am one of many Ford owners who are now left with this problem. This is not the first issue I have had with this vehicle. Approximately a year ago my computer system that handles my back up camera and hands free technology also stopped working and is in need of an APIM replacement which is about $4000. This is also an issue well known to Ford users and impacts the safety of the drivers. All in all to make necessary repairs would cost almost as much as the MSRP for the vehicle itself and I still have half of that to continue to pay on.

The car will suddenly slow down. I will be going 65 miles an hour then the car will slow down to 30 miles an hour when attempting to speed up the car will start jerking and the engine will rev, but the car will not go any faster. Then the car will jolt forward unexpectedly.

I have tried multiple times to reach Ford Corporate since 6-6-22. They say they called me and there was not voicemail option so they closed my case. I keep opening case numbers with them. On Jun2 2nd, my car was parked, idling in the driveway on an incline. I opened the driver's side door and pushed the off button, the car then started to roll backwards. The door hit me and the car dragged me down the driveway into the street. The car then continued to roll into a neighbor's yard and hit the front of their house. It took out a support beam, the porch, the front brick wall and a window. I opened a claim with my insurance, called the cops. The police did not issue me a ticket since I was not driving the car when the incident happened. I had to go to the ER for multiple injuries where the front tire ran over my leg, a cut head and multiple burns from being dragged on pavement. The neighbors house- luckily no one was hurt, had to have the entire outer wall replaced, brick work, and porch. I am still healing from the accident, I have a major hematoma on my right leg that has caused severe tissue damage. I believe the car did not hold in park and rolled. The car will remain in the body shop for repairs until end of June.

I purchased vehicle October 2019 and asked preowned dealership the next day I purchased about the issue I have: My vehicle has delayed acceleration and jerks its way through gears when I am moving at stop light or backing up from parking space. Also steering gear shakes and asked them if it was an alignment issue but they said nothing was wrong with it.
