I think it is stupid for this problem to be as well known as it is and no recall for it.

Why doesn't NHTSA recall these Ford engines? The spark plug works its way out of the defectively threaded block of the engine, then gas vapors are shot out into the engine compartment, where the spark plug could ignite the vapors, and burn the vehicle up.
Ford knows about the problem, they even sell a repair kit for the problem! Is Ford following in Toyota's footsteps?

This not the first time this has happened. and it is a very dangerous problem, as there is a good chance a fire could be caused from fuel pushed out the spark plug hole could ignite! And it is not a "simple fix" on a van as the Spark plugs are about 3 inches recessed on the intake side of the cylinder head ,and under the fuel rails. and about impossible to see or reach just to disconnect the coil leads and injector wires. W.T.F. !! I don't see how anyone can perform even the simple task of routine spark plug service on this poorly designed cylinder head!
