Edge SEL 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 125,000 miles

Bought car used on a rare rainy January day in Los Angeles. Didn't even think to try AC/heater. It simply did not blow-- did not matter if it was AC or heat, just did not blow. Had to replace blower motor, but even now, it's a really pathetic AC system that takes forever to get cold and does not blow hard.

Update from Nov 3, 2017: I had to replace all my coils & spark plugs (second time around for all but 1 coil-- I found they had all been replaced prior to me purchasing the car, along with the PCM), and interestingly, to me at least, the AC started blowing colder. Or maybe I'm just crazy, but every little positive is a glimmer of hope with this car....

I'm about to list several issues with this car, this isn't the worst of them. But the A/C compressor is difficult to and was expensive to have replaced.
