It is so annoying to have your console latch break and not be able to buy a $10 plastic piece to repair it. There are two screws that remove the plastic latch and even I, yes I, could replace it with the new piece. I understand this part is not available separately but that I would have to purchase the whole lid. Ridiculous!! I'll buy $100 worth of velcro before I'll give in and purchase the whole darn lid!!

Little plastic latch broke. This is obviously going to happen eventually since the plastic bends every time you use it. IT WILL BREAK.

The biggest annoyance about the cheap little latch breaking is that YOU CANT BUY A REPLACEMENT.

The only way to fix the <$1.00 part is to buy the whole damned lid assembly, which runs over $100. Utter crap.
