The contact owns a 2007 Ford Edge. The contact stated while traveling 10 mph she attempted to apply the brakes with the pedal fully depressed; however, she was unsuccessful. The vehicle was taken to a private mechanic who stated the master cylinder failed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure and current mileage was 100,000...updated 11/14/12 the master cylinder and booster were repaired, as the booster was leaking. Updated 11/14/12
