Takata recall it has been over three years since I get the recall notice and I still have not been able to get my airbag replaced. I live in a very hot, humid climate and am on a fixed income and I need this fixed, yet the Ford dealership keeps saying they don't have the airbag to put in it. Please help. I am guessing at the date of recall below in order to proceed with this complaint.

Today again I notified the dealer and again received the same reply. With no option of a replacement part or to have this air bag deactivated until a replacement is available [ as a purchase or as a replacement] I am very concerned. Please help it is unfair not to have a real solution!

Takata recall - according to the November 2017 remedy program document called the state of takata airbag recall, all vehicles should have had resolution by 2017 for airbag defect. Only group 4 has until 2019 to have airbag situation remedied. I own a 2007 Ford Edge. Local dealer does not have parts or an estimate on when they would get parts. Please advise next steps for immediate resolution. A 20 year old child drives this car to college. Please help us so she doesn't lose her life like the individuals seen in the document as recent as July 2017.

Tanaka recall - I was provided notice in July 2016 that my passenger front airbags were on recall and that they would let me know when parts are/were available. I have called regularly and stopped by the dealerships regularly and have been told parts are still not available. This was nearly 2 years ago - they told me I can not have a passenger in front of car. This has prevented me from being in a carpool at school and has been a major inconvenience. I received yet another noticed in December 2017 that parts are still not available. Forgive me, but shouldn't I have full use of my vehnicle? so frustrated! I hope someone reads this!

This is a simple fix that Ford has refused to procure parts to fix at the risk of killing my family members. 1.5 years to come up with a simple part that could save my family's safety and life.
