I had a blinker go out so I had my fiance replace it. When he took the lens off the wiring it was all melted together. Not in just the one light but in all 4 lights. I do not know what kind of safety issue this is but it worries me. I have two little ones that are always with me and I do not know if this is something that can catch fire. I pray that it doesn't. As stated in posted about me A/C-heater I will never own another FORD!!!

Edge Limited 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 1,243 miles

Every time we have a heavy sand storm or car wash, most the warning & chimes lights are going on such as; air bags, ABS, brake system, parking brake system, stability control system, speed control system, master light switch, fog lamps-front, battery, low tire pressure warning, door ajar system... etc.

It's happened around 15 times since i bought the car. First time I send the car to the dealer workshop & the kilometer was just 2000 KLM. Since that time it's continuously happened after each and every sand storm or car wash.

I understand from the dealer maintenance supervisor that the problem was due to the battery. So, they change the battery. Then it's happened again & they change the instrument cluster (speedometer). It's happened again ... and again ... and again & no clear solution for such likes this problem.

After a while, I discover that every time I send my car to the dealer workshop, it's coming older and older & I'm losing my money. All what they are doing is plug-off the battery connection & then plug it in again (system reset). After the reset everything will be fine and return back to its normal state. So, I do it by myself for several times to solve the problem temporary because I need the car.

I'm tired & exhausted financially & physically since I'm always losing my time in the dealer workshop & my money since I have to rent a car to do my business for almost 5-7 days while the car under maintenance.

So, I want a help….
