The contact owns a 2011 Ford Edge. While driving approximately 35 mph, the traction control indicator illuminated and the vehicle lost power. The contact turned off the vehicle and it restarted normally. The contact also stated that the failure occurred at least seven times in one day and began six months ago. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 70,000.
