So, this has been something that I have dealt with for awhile then it stopped, I had forgotten, and now has started back since it has rained everyday of the week.

The windshield wiper switch has a malfunction where if you have them on and them turn them to the off position they still stay on. Turning the car off and turning it back on does not fix the problem. It usually turns itself off after awhile but you don't want the motor in it to wear out. The fix is to replace the switch on the wheel. I have yet to do it but should be an easy fix.

The dealership diagnosed it even though I knew exactly what it was. Can buy the part from online and replace it. It is on the to-do list for this vehicle.
