PTO failed at 80k. Beyond powertrain warranty,and after contacting Ford they offered no resolution. Although it was out of warranty, a major, non maintainable part on the powertrain shold not fail like this. I felt strongly that Ford should have shouldered part of the cost of replacemnt. Especially, after research, these are prone to fail and dealers keep them in stock as it is a very common failure.
