While driving 70mph on a freeway I heard a loud explosion type sound overhead and then heard glass flying off my car and a loud whoosh of air. I have my internal sunroof cover closed thankfully and none of this glass went inside. I was not around any cars bridges or trees and no foreign objects were discovered during inspection. This is clearly a manufacturing defect that could've ended very badly had I not had the cover up inside the cabin.
