I purchased the car on July 8th. During the week of July 20th I traveled to Houston and that is when I encountered my first issue with my Edge. I was attempting to make a hands free call. I pushed the voice prompt button on the steering wheel, the radio muted for 3 seconds, then the radio began playing again. With this condition voice prompts are unusable, so if you need to make a phone call it will have to be done using the touchscreen. IMO, when driving down the freeway at 75mph that is a very unsafe act to perform. I might as well be texting!
I called My Sync services and the only fix for now is a Master Reset. It isn't a difficult task to perform, but I've owned the vehicle just shy of a couple of months and have had to do a reset three times already! After paying $37000+ I shouldn't be encountering this problem at all!
I have allow other users to contact me with suggestions and comments checked, so if anyone else has encountered this same problem please let me know if you have a permanent fix.
