The contact owns a 2014 Ford Edge. While driving approximately 55 mph, a loud popping noise occurred. Upon inspection, it was discovered that the sun roof glass had shattered. The sun roof was closed at the time of the failure. The cause of the failure was not determined. The manufacturer and local dealer (billingsley Ford, 2502 nw quanah parker trailway, lawton, ok) were notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 80,000. Updated 11/29/18

The contact owns a 2014 Ford Edge. While attempting to drive the vehicle, the driver noticed that a lot of water leaked through the sun roof. The failure recurred twice. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed and in the process of being repaired. In addition, the vehicle was taken to the dealer where the sun roof assembly track was replaced; however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 52,000.
