I bought my 2015 Edge brand new at the dealership. The rear latch/door gave me issues from the start. It would jam shut and I'd have to go the dealerships (closest ones) to get this fixed. Now the hood latch is broken in the -40 weather where I would require to fill my windshield washer on a regular basis. I cannot close my hood unless I go to a closest garage to get it closed for me. Now I am due for an oil change and windshield washer again and I fear that I won't be able to get it shut again.

Contacted the dealership to order the part and they said it was on back order and they didn't know when it would come in as they were waiting on 6 of these. How does a dealership wait on 6 latches! This should be a recall. I've only had issue with my car from the start and I am not very pleased with the service so far.

Last year my car wouldn't start and I had to call Ford Assist to bring it to the closest dealership. They contacted me a couple days later and explained that they had to do an oil change, battery etc $600 later.. I went to start my car and it wouldn't start again. It was at the dealership for almost 3 weeks and they decided to change the fuel pump.

Needless to say my warranty had just run out but they ended up covering. I never did get my $600 back for the wrong diagnosis to begin with. Also, they provided me with a car a week later and said they normally don't do that as I had not bought my car at that dealership! there you have it my rant. Very frustrating to own a Ford.
