The contact stated that upon taking the vehicle in for regular tire service, the contact was made aware that while attempting to move the vehicle, the brake pedal assembly became detached. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 100,000.
