This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Ford dealer.
In May of 2019, my family was driving down Cabbage Hill and the brakes went completely out. No warning lights, no warning anything. When you applied your foot to the brake, it went to the floor, zero resistance. We made it to the bottom of the hill and coasted to a stop. The car was towed to the dealership. The dealership said the front driver side brake hose burst. This was not covered on my bumper to bumper warranty. This costed 500.00 to fix. I asked them about the other 3 hoses (one by each tire). They said they looked good and should not have further issues.
9/19/19 This morning I was driving to work and guess what? Yes, my brakes went out. No warning. Just, no brakes, and the pedal went to the floor completely. Apparently there are four lines. Ford does not warranty these lines. No brakes to stop your car is a safety issue.

Driving home from work on a cold day, thankfully driving fairly slowly due to traffic, when all of the sudden my brake pedal went all the way to the floor... I managed to drive the car safely to parking lot and park it where a bunch of brake fluid then appeared - and THEN the brake warning light came on, indicating I had a brake fluid problem (thanks for that...) After an extensive delay to have car towed to Ford Dealership (a 4 day wait) I'm told that my "one line definitely needs to be replaced and not sure about second brake line as it is bulging so we will see if that improves after initial line is fixed".
Now today, I'm told BOTH brake lines at only 84000 km (in a well-maintained vehicle) need to be replaced. I ask if this seems a bit ODD as brakes are pretty important and you would think they would last more than 3 years of regular use. I ask Ford what could have caused this and how can I prevent this from happening again as I am a mom of 3 kids constantly driving... to which the service advisor (who was quite nice and reasonable) admitted "yeah, I've never seen this happen before and can't explain why it did."
I called Ford Customer Service line to report as this seems like some faulty manufacturing and deserves an appropriate investigation in my opinion.

Vehicle failed to stop when brake pedal depressed. The pedal went down to the floor. Brakes were able to be pumped until vehicle slowed to a stop.

In November, the brake went out on passenger side. Exactly a month later on December 22nd, it went out again on the drivers side. Brakes went all the way to the floor. This could have been very dangerous if it would have happened on the freeway to work.
