The contact owns a 2016 Ford Edge. The contact stated upon starting the vehicle, the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer to be diagnosed and the dealer retrieved DTC codes: P0301 and P0316. The dealer determined that there was a coolant intrusion in cylinder #1, and that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure.
