Oil pan that was installed on 11/18/20 is now leaking. An appointment has been made for February 1, 2021. I plan to speak to the Service Manager as this is the 4th time the vehicle has been in for an oil leak in 13 months. This vehicle is by far the worst one I've had in regard to having same items replaced more than once. I am very disappointed to say the least.
Update from Feb 4, 2021: Timing cover is leaking for the 2nd time. The engine has to be pulled out for the second time. Luckily the vehicle is still under the power train warranty and will be covered. I was able to speak with the District Service Manager and expressed my concerns.

Oil pan that was replaced on 12/30/19 is leaking again.
Dealership had to install second oil pan. They also found that there was a leak around the crank seal and oil PSI sensor. They had the car for several days.

The 2.7 ecoboost is the same engine that used often in the F-150 trucks - this is the standard engine for the Ford Edge Sport. However there are many more F-150's with the 2.7 the road than the Edge Sport so you will hear and read about it on the truck much more often. The oil pan was replaced last month. The oil pan on the these engines is composite - not metal. There apparently was a process defect in installing the seal material for the pans. Many leak. The new oil pan seemed to solve it - or so I thought. Several days ago I started seeing small amounts of oil on the garage floor - not anywhere near the amount on the first leak but still annoying as heck. The steering wheel gets replaced on this car tomorrow to solve the adaptive steering fault and I will ask the dealer to put the car on a lift and check the oil pan.
I love the car but my patience is wearing thin. I am fortunate to have and extra vehicle! Will update later.
Update from Nov 3, 2018: Dye was put in the oil a week ago. Dealer checked a week later - oil pan leaking again. I was told that oil probably got on to the sealant on the installation and the pan did not seal. dealer has ordered another oil pan(apparently the composite oil pans can not be reused.

What is really got me heated is we took it to Ford twice and they could not understand why it was leaking! Well I can tell you why - because the DUMBASS that worked on it did not do what he claimed he did the first time! And we had the car back a month before we realized they did not fix it the first timer! So now here we are today and now the electrical fan will not turn which they state was the reason why my battery went dead that they claim was the beginning of my issues! I have had it!
