The contact owns a 2016 Ford Edge. The contact noticed an abnormal exhaust odor entering the cabin of the vehicle. The contact stated that the issue was more prevalent while using the air conditioning unit in the vehicle. The contact was diagnosed with carbon monoxide poisoning and sought medical attention. The vehicle was not taken to be diagnosed. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and advised the contact to take the vehicle to the local dealer. The dealer was not contacted. The approximate failure mileage was 2,066.
