The contact owns a 2017 Ford Edge. The contact stated while the vehicle was idling, the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where the contact was informed that there was a coolant failure, cylinder number 2, and that the engine needed to be replaced. The contact called orleans Ford (1405 S main St, medina, NY 14103, (585) 798-4316) however, the vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and informed the contact that the vehicle was not covered under warranty. The failure mileage was 87,000.
