Driving when stopped tried to put vehicle in drive and would not go. The failure is the transmission, have had the vehicle for a littler over a year and has been in the shop for at least 9 months. Rebuilt Ford tranny still cannot get it right. 1st time would not do into drive 2nd time driving down the highway and went into high RPM's and wouldn't shift gears. 3rd time stopped went put vehicle into drive would not engage. 4th time would not engage to reverse. 5th time would not engage into any gear.

I was involved in a minor car accident when my airbag deployed and caused 2nd degree burns to both of my top forearms, I also fractured my right wrist that separated the cartilage in my wrist and required surgery. I am a healthy, active 42 year old woman never been in an accident. I believe the airbag did not deploy correctly and may even need to be recalled to make sure it was installed efficiently. The burns sustained to my arms are not consistent with typical burns from airbags that I have researched. The bag itself did not come out straight, nor even hit my chest, it came out of the top of the steering wheel. I want to prevent this from happening to others.

My 2005 Ford Escape was missing bad. Ford replaced cap and plug, then called me to say that was not the problem it was "lack of maintenance" and wants me to pay $400 to fix it. First of all, my husband used to work for Ford dealership and he takes care of all maintenance for me. What good is a manufacturer warranty then? also it will be a week or more before I receive my vehicle back. All I have to say is" this is ridiculous" they will not give me a loaner car while mine is being fixed and my vehicle wasn't that bad until the dealership received it. I feel they messed up my car and I should not have to pay for it when I have a manufacturer warranty.
