problem #1

Jun 032010

Escape Limited V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 42,771 miles

At 42,771 miles the engine overheated (No Light) and I had to have a Radiator Hose, Thermostat and Head gasket replaced to fix the problem.

I pulled over because I could see the steam coming from the engine and it was losing power. The repairs were done at a Ford Dealership at a cost of $726.48. Labor cost was 587.53, parts $127.92 and Tax $11.03.

This is turning out to be a very expensive car to maintain to say the least.
