Escape V6

Well, it was making a loud squealing noise for 3 days, now it won't start at all. I spent $125 on a battery, another $120 on a new alternator. Plus tow. It still doesn't run. So, I am super irritated. I wish I did not buy this truck. Only 9 payments left and it is in the garage collecting dust. I have multiple problems. Windows, A/C, Alarm, Electrical System and now it just doesn't start.

My alternator bearing was squealing so high piched it woke my neighbours up. this only happened when it was really cold out and only on a cold start (I leave for work at 5am on Sundays so they really loved me! ) the technicians at ford had fun racking up a 550$ bill for a serpentine belt a pulley and a tensioner, plus the hourly rate to install all of these parts over three seperate occasions first the belt repalcement $$> take SUV home still noisy> back to ford > install pulley $$> back home> more noise> back to ford> install tensioner$$> back home> more noise!> back to ford> diagnose> "good news we found the problem it was your alternator bearing!" which is covered under warranty!" "because you went through all this were willing to pay half your deductible." GEE THANKS!
