Had oil changed in June told by company that changed the oil that the stabilizer links were broken and needed to be replaced. We had been dealing with the local Ford company over excessive road noise, which despite numerous visits and a wheel alignment, they were unable to cure. We decided to take the vehicle to one of the larger dealerships to have this work done. This is pretty disgusting as this vehicle has never towed anything, never been off road, and was only just off manufacturers warranty at 68000 klm that's approx. 40,000 miles. Fortunately we had the extended warranty as this vehicle would have cost us way over $1000.00 (not including brakes, tires, etc.,) to fix in a 3 month period, for things that should never be breaking at this mileage. We are now looking for another vehicle and it will not be FORD.
