Love my Escape but now that the paint is peeling off, I don't want it. Like everyone else here, Ford doesn't seem to care and nothing is covered under the extended warranty I took out. Very dissappointed in Ford!! I traded in my 98 Explorer with over 160,000 miles on it, which I now wish I kept, for this Escape. I haved only had it for 17 months. Now I am going to look into trading it in before the paint peels anymore. So far it's just on the top of the hatch.
