It's more of the same thing I've read on this website already. No sign of a problem and the oil had been changed just a few months ago. The oil light never came on and still isn't on even though there is no oil in the car. When we hooked it up to a diagnostic machine it said that a sensor wasn't working. How can this not be a manufacture defect? Now the engine is ticking after 4 quarts of oil were added. I'm afraid they say I need a new engine. This car should have the sensor oil light recalled. Now I am sol because Ford 's power train warranty is 60,000 and I just turned over to 75,000.
