A well-known problem with this car from the early years of this model, Ford refuses to do anything about it. I had one of the panels replaced while under warranty and although the others looked okay at the time, I should have argued to have all of them replaced because the film on these things is defective. The cost of replacement is roughly $150 per panel, which makes replacing the three remaining original panels roughly a $450 job.

I have spent a good deal of my life defending Ford to all of my friends switching to foreign luxury brands. I guess now I'm the one with egg on my face.
