I have to replace these links every 6 months or so. I know I live in the north where we have some pretty rough roads but it's getting ridiculous.

Sway bar stabilization links started rattling. Had them fixed, then it happened again shortly after.

Definitely defective parts. I've gone through 8 of these guys already.

Escape LXT 3.0L V6

Sway bar links bust, but that happens if Ford uses cheap cast aluminum parts which are even too small for a compact car, not mentioning they put them on an SUV. I had my mechanic install forged ones with lifetime warranty from a reputable manufacturer. They can be lubricated, which the OEM parts can not.
