The contact owns a 2009 Ford Escape. While driving approximately 30 mph with the air conditioning unit activated, white flakes began to blow from the ventilation. The failure recurred whenever the air conditioning unit was operated. The flakes were blown into the contact's eyes, obstructing her vision. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where it was repaired. The failure recurred within one week. The vehicle was taken back to the authorized dealer twice for repairs. After the second repair the failure did not recur. The failure mileage was 11,000 and the current mileage was 13,450.
