The contact owns a 2009 Ford Escape. When refueling the vehicle, the fuel pump nozzle was difficult to remove. In addition, the check fuel and check engine warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to shamaley Ford (11301 gateway blvd w, el paso, tx 79936, (915) 591-8600) where it was diagnosed that the fuel hose for the fuel tank needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 88,000.
