The contact owns a 2009 Ford Escape. While the vehicle was parked, the liftgate glass fell out of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the rear bolts and hinges failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure.
