The contact owns a 2010 Ford Escape. The contact stated that the engine stalled without warning while driving 60 mph. The vehicle was towed to a mechanic, who diagnosed the failure at the throttle body. The vehicle was repaired and the throttle body was replaced. In addition, the rear hatch door could only be opened electronically and not manually. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 43,000 and the approximate current mileage was 43,100...updated 09-18-13
