The contact owns a 2010 Ford Escape. The contact was at a complete stop with the brakes depressed when he simultaneously depressed the accelerator pedal. The contact stated the accelerator and brake pedals were extremely close to one another and due to his size 11.5 shoe size, he would often depress both pedals unintentionally. The contact had not experienced a failure but was concerned with the possibility of being involved in a crash. The current mileage was 10,000. Updated 10/20/10 updated 10/26/10
