The day after my Ford dealer repaired the throttle body unit failure under the recall order, my engine light came on. Only to find out my catalytic converter was damaged. This was attributed to the un-burnt fuel dumped into the cat. When I had to limp home while the throttle body unit was failing and I did everything I could do to get home while traveling on the local parkway. I reported this to my dealer. They told me I had to call Ford to open up a case. I did and after 2 months of dealer and my efforts to have this covered, FORD declined any responsibility to repair this nearly $2000 repair. So the only when it happens to you throttle body issue happened at 91000, causing the catalytic converter to fail which is 11000 miles out of warranty and I'm responsible. I bought this car because I thought Ford was making reliable cars. BIG mistake, I will never buy a Ford product again.
