Immediately upon having recall 16S41 - replace the FDM flange with one that has a redesigned fuel supply port - vehicle cold start is slow. Engine crank used to be 1 second, now it is 4 to 5 seconds. It sounds as if the fuel system is not getting fuel into the engine quickly enough on a cold start for the engine to crank quickly.

Recalled fuel delivery module replaced. Immediate starting problems. Sluggish to the point of fear it will not start. Dealership said they will replace it but so far parts unavailable. Even talked to people at Ford and they do not answer the question. This has been going on for almost 3 months. If the dealership can't get the parts then they can't fix the problem. Does Ford manufacture the fuel system modules that they wanted replaced due to possible cause of these vehicles on fire? Getting an answer is as difficult as getting repairs. Help

Update from May 13, 2018: Fuel module (recall) replaced Feb l4, 2018. Car immediately had starting problems. Taken back for adjustments several times. Asked that they replace the part again. It has been 3 months, car stills starts so improperly that I seldom drive it. Ford place tells me the parts are back ordered. This has been months. How can Ford not supply the parts to correct this problem. Why can't they approve someone elses products.
