This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Ford dealer.
I'm sure it's not under warranty. The vehicle has always been very well maintained. It' is just coming apart. There is no wear and tear on that area. It should not be doing that.

The noise that comes from the windshield when driving against the wind at 70mph is very annoying. Took the car to El Centro Motors twice and explained the problem but the very rude service adviser only made me waste my time. He told me to take the car back to their shop when it is windy so they can test it to confirm what I am saying. I recently drove to Las Vegas and the noise was bad. I am 100% sure is the front windshield because when I press on the glass above the mirror the noise stops a little. I will never buy a Ford car again.

Began as whistling noise at top center of windshield at 75mph. Then eventually at 45mph. Initially the dealer would not take the vehicle to 75mph to figure it out because the speed limit is 65mph here. The replaced the seal and it was ok for a few years. I had to put a bead of silicone on the outside to stop it, but there are water marks where water seeped in. Now the passenger side is actually leaking in to the car and dripping. Uggg... Ford... not again. This is my last Ford purchase.
