Park assist randomly goes off with a load continuous beep. No indication why it's beeping. It's been doing this since I owned the vehicle and there is no pattern that I can see. Taken it back to the dealer twice. First time they say they couldn't repeat it. Second time I let the tech take it home for a day and he says the only time it happened to him was when he would creep up on other vehicles at a stop light. But he's wrong. After he told me that I experimented by getting very close to other vehicles at a stop light and the park assist never made a sound. So, dealer is no help. My only remedy is to turn off the park assist. I just wish I could turn if off permanently. I always forget to turn it off and I still jump when it unexpectedly goes off. Ironic, it suppose the help avoid accidents with instead it's going to cause me to have one.
