any suggestions? first they replaced ABS module(2 weeks) the hill assist engine light came on again and we had safe mode issues, then they had it for 3 weeks and replaced Power steer module, had same issue and replaced the body control module (3-3.5 weeks). Had to have car towed etc. and spent lots of time on th phone. Dealer tried to be helpful. They did provide a car under dealer certified program. I complained to Ford they offer no help!

I forgot then we got it back and it wouldnt start but started next time . A week later I had to have it towed and it was the sensor for the coolant overflow.

Update from Nov 20, 2017: Actuallly this wasn't the end. The vehicle was given back and then a few days later same issue! I had to have the dealer call a tow truck. We had to give up on the vehicle because its been at dealer from end of July-end of October and we had the car for 3 weeks total out of the period. Escape is unreliable, unsafe risky to drive and no answers. Had to trade in!

Whenever it is cold out and I am driving through town, almost every time I let off the gas the dash flashed hill start assist not available. I am talking 5- 10 times randomly in a 10 minute drive. Sometimes it also causes the radio to short out with a loud screech as well. The problem also seems to occur exactly when turning on the defrost as well. Anybody else with the same issue?
