The contact owns a 2013 Ford Escape. The contact stated that after refueling the vehicle, the vehicle stalled after coming to a complete stop. The vehicle was taken to the dealer on numerous occasions, and the dealer replaced several unknown sensors; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the engine control module (ECM) needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired and remained at the dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened. The failure mileage was approximately 81,000. The VIN was unavailable.
