Escape SEL 2.0L 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 86,626 miles

I was driving down the highway and heard a thumping noise like I was running over expansion cracks in the road. I thought it was the 18 wheeler beside me, but NOOOO, it was my car. The wheel was wobbling back and forth.

Luckily this was covered by my extended "Premium Warranty" that I paid $2,000 for when I purchased this car used.

They had to replace the wheel hub and the hub bearing. It took them a week to get my vehicle back to me but I was able to get a loaner car to drive from the dealer while they repaired my vehicle.

Thank goodness I bought the extended warranty.

Escape Limited 2.0L

There is no way that a sealed bearing would go on a car after 65,000 KM. Not happy with repair cost, 200$ for bearing and $175 labor
