Escape Charcoal 4 cyl

I have a 2014 Ford Escape and the drivers seat back is separating; 15,500 at the time I took it to the dealer. The Service Manager took some pictures and said he would check with Ford. I also sent Ford a email and did not get a response. The dealer Etter Ford said the seat was $635.00. With only 15,500 miles I think the seat should have lasted longer.
