The car's engine will cut off, lights and electricity will stay on, but the engine will cut out while driving. Acceleration is lost, and cannot start moving again until the car is put in park, turned off, and turned back on. This is while the car is in motion. This has happened at 30 mph and slower, as well as 55 mph. The car will give an engine fault or engine failure and begin jerking. This happens on the highway and city streets. The most recent time, the car began jerking after turning and could not stay on for longer than 10 seconds before shutting off. This has happened at least 6-10 times, and almost caused car accidents. Multiple parts have been replaced, and the issue still happens.

I got into the truck and crank it up as I was leaving work one afternoon and when I turned the radio on the display screen for the rear back up camera and radio went out.. its was flashing white and black and then black with a white line thru it after it kelly flashing turning red green orange with lime just running thru the screen.then about 10 minutes tops it was gone out.. it only takes me 12 minutes to get home from work and it didn't last that long so took it back to my dealership and they don't know what wrong with it. But I have no radio and no camera. I continued to drive around not knowing what was wrong with the truck and one night it make a spark as I was sitting with it running at a fast food drive thru. The smoke was coming from the front vents so it parked it and called the tow truck. Quick towed it back to the dealer who still couldn't figure out a problem they just disconnected the wiring completely so I'm worse off as far as it goes to figure out the problem. I don't see any fixes for these issues but I've seen lots of the same complaints please help

While having to replace the coolant at least twice a week and after having 2 recall repairs completed on the coolant system, then after 10000 miles after the recall repairs were completed, ie replace overflow bottle, sensors, etc. The car still is losing coolant and now the "engine has reached high temp please stop car safely". warning is showing on panel and the car will go into drive but will not move. The car had not been driven when this "warning" occurred in my driveway, there was no way engine could have overheated as it had not been driven. This would appear to be a defect in the recall repairs that were done or that there is another problem.. I have the car currently at the dealership and am told that it could take up to 3 weeks for repairs.

Ford fixed a recall on my car regarding the coolant sensor and my car hasn't been right ever since. Same day that I brought it home the coolant sensor said coolant level low even though they had just filled it up and there was plenty of coolant in the car. Yesterday on my way home from work my car over heated and, lights on the dash said for me to pull over safely as soon as possible. The car automatically slowed down to barely 5miles/hour on it own, it would not accelerate. Now the car is not drivable as it overheats within 30 seconds of starting the car up. Dealerships near me will not service my car for another 2 weeks and they don't have a loaner car that I can use in the meantime, and on top of that it's going to have to be towed to the dealership because it's non-drivable. According to the diagnostics ran on it the code that came up was - P1299.

Drove the car in the morning of 8/11 just fine, in the afternoon went to start the car and it will not move out of park, dashboard states the car is in neutral. The car has been like this since since 8/11 and parked in my driveway. Received a letter in the mail on 8/13 that this issue is an actual recall and when we called local Ford dealer, they informed us that they don't know when they will have the part to fix our car! what can we do" we can't use the car and they can't fix it! can we simply return the car" we have an outstanding car loan and are paying for a car that's had three recalls so far since we've had it. We can't afford to keep paying uber to get to work and a car loan and car insurance for a car that no one can tell us when it will get fixed!

Power steering goes out when you step on the acelator to merge into traffic and the vehicle attempts to stall taking off from stop sign. Also at 14000 miles I was told all four wheels needed alignment and I did not ask them to check alignment. I was told I get 30 plus mpg and have not been able to get over 24 mpg

This car has less than 44 miles and is all breaking down, when the battery when down all electrical parts are not working correctly windows are going up and down with out pushing the button, lights turn on and of by then self's, is just to new to happen all this problem, ha money that they charge (dealer ) is to expensive, and I suppose paid every maintenance for inspection to see if my car is doing ok, last time they inspected and didnt see the battery problem, the missing screw in the container of refrigerant, and low oil level in the brake container. That not have warranty any more, like they know all ready that it will be problem with the electrical part. I think this cars are the worse when they are electricall or to much "technology" I was in los angeles area far awy from home and a place that seem dangerous..... it wasnt safety to be in that place with my broken new car. T this should be a recall to see id electrical are working correctly, this now is going a cost a fortune, ...this is not right, I didnt feel safe since my windows was open, was in the night and near to a liquor store and rehab center. People acting estrange asking for money, could not close my windows

I had a recall performed that included software. Prior to this I had a digital readout of my speedometer. After the recall the reading I got became average speed. With the digital read I could get quick update on speed. The average speed is absolutely useless. I notified Ford. They opened case cas-7804630. Subsequent E-mail from them then recorded case closed. Unsatisfactory. Case filed on 08/31/2015.
