Hi, overall I really like my 2014 Ford Escape. It is only a few weeks old and I already had to replace the Auto Window batteries because they wouldn't go up in the cold, but that is not what I'm writing about.

I live in VT, we get a lot of snow and I bought this car to combat the weather. Last week I pulled out of a driveway going very slow and after turning the corner began to slide. I immediately hit the brakes, but the car's traction control kicked in and continued to accelerate the car as if the brakes were not working at all. I came within inches of hitting the car in front of me. The speeds were very low, but I was shocked and horrified that the traction control kicked in accelerating the car over me pressing the brakes.
