There is a safety recall on this vehicle. I never received the alert that the part was in stock. I had the actual problem happen to me where I put vehicle in park. Shifter was in Park. I exited the vehicle and it started rolling away. As I jumped into the vehicle to stop it from hitting another vehicle (fortunately it did not roll over me), I opened the drivers door and it got caught on a large bush/tree which caused the door to hyperextend open and now the door does not close correctly at the top and it is scratched up / paint chipped. I am asking that Ford pay for fixing the door as I did what I was supposed to do (set emergency brake but it snapped right at the same time), but they are refusing to pay for the repairs to the door.

Contacted local Ford dealership(s) in reference to 2 open recalls on my vehicle: Transmission gear shift linkage and door latches. I was made aware of the door latch recall when I was traveling with my 2 children who were in the back seat and the back door opened and would not latch closed. Upon researching, I found the 2 recalls and have tried for over 4 months to get it repaired as it is a serious safety issue. I was advised that it could be in the repair shop for 2-3 months and I would not have any transportation as they stated they do not have "courtesy" vehicles. I feel like Ford should honor the recall in a timely manner which they are NOT. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request.

Was driving 35mph and car started jerking and lost power to gas pedal. I placed it in park, and then in drive. The speedometer trusted to 110 and then it jerked some more, heard a horrible whining noise. I drove home with same issues, about 6 blocks. Then I got a transmission failure message on my dash. Could put in park. Put my e brake on. Had it towed to the dealership. Car only has 55,000 miles on it. Been meticulously maintained. There were no warnings before this incident. Dealership called and said my transmission needs to be replaced. Well we do t have 6000 to fix it and ar still making car payments. I have seen thousands of these complaints online, why isn't Ford doing something for the consumer. This should be a recall. I am not a happy customer

So I called Nelson Ford today they told me that I had 3 recalls on my vehicle according to the website here I've had 15 recalls they say I had 3 recalls. Now my car hesitates when it accelerates and doesn't shift right they say that the recall as nothing to do with the transmission itself. That the recalls only covers the cable bushing only and if it fails then they will fix it only of I can't move the car and that I get it towed in. And now I have a lemon and I can't offord to replace the transmission if the same problem exists. And I feel like ford is not taking responsibility for there lemon car
