A car took the red light as we had the green light she ran into the car in front of me and then fish taled and her rear car smashed into my front... none of my airbags deployed at all but the other 2 car did and my front end damages are severely damaged. The person responsible for this accident was arrested at the scene and they did a sobriety test on her

Driving 65 mph, slight curve to the right. Heard a big bang and the driver side tire popped causing the car to veer to the right. The tired never shredded or anything. Upon inspection, the link kits had exploded and the stability arm had been bent.

Driving down the freeway going 65 mph in Virginia I the left lane heard a bang and the car suddenly jerked the the right and into the next lane over. Stopped the car in the middle of the freeway and found that the rear right lower suspension control arm broke. The car was stuck and had to be towed from the middle of freeway.

The contact owns a 2014 Ford Escape. While driving at any speed above 55 mph, the front end of the vehicle vibrated. The check engine warning indicator illuminated when the failure occurred. The contact stated that the vehicle was able to be driven when the failure occurred. The vehicle was taken to the dealer (fort mill Ford, 801 gold hill rd, fort mill, SC 29708) where it was diagnosed that the front passenger and driver side axles needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted at 800-392-3673 and stated that the vehicle was new to experience the failure. The manufacturer asked the contact to call NHTSA. A case number was not provided. The approximate failure mileage was 85,000.

Vehicle was in motion on city street being parked. I heard a loud pop noise. I looked around to see where it came from. Inside the truck the interior bust open showing metal screw part of the strut or shocks that's popping out of the interior this part could have caused injuries or caused a accident if the part come all the way through the interior

Rear shock absorber defective, but Ford won't replace under extended warranty, even premium extended. Dealer replaced at cost of $556 plus charged another $100 to align wheels. Ford will not take care of, despite issuing tsb no. 15-0194 indicating that shock absorbers may be defective. Ford says part not covered, but there is a safety issue due to defective part.

Power steering goes out when you step on the acelator to merge into traffic and the vehicle attempts to stall taking off from stop sign. Also at 14000 miles I was told all four wheels needed alignment and I did not ask them to check alignment. I was told I get 30 plus mpg and have not been able to get over 24 mpg

When I have an oil change, the dealer (2 of them) notify me that I have a leak in my rear shock absorbers. I have replaced the passenger side twice and now they tell me my drivers side is leaking. The vehicle just went out of warranty, but there is a problem with the rear shocks. I have never experience a rear shock leak as long as I have owned a vehicle. Now, basically, every time I have an oil change and check, they inform me of a leakage.

My 2014 Ford Escape has a blown right front strut and tie rod at only 47,000 miles. The mechanic was shocked and said to contact Ford. He said it's unheard of for a strut or tie rob to fail with so few miles. It is a poor quality part. Unfortunately, there has been no response from Ford.

My wife pulled up driveway, I happened to be outside next to car when she pulled in. We suddenly heard loud crunching sound and she stopped. When we found nothing I asked her to back up. We heard crunching sound again and she said the steering wheel was not controlling car. She immediately stopped. We discovered right front wheel pushed against tire well of body frame. Next day when tow truck lifted car, we discovered the ball joint assembly had come apart. Perry Ford (san diego) confirmed ball joint appears to have come apart without any obvious sign of damage due to impact or driver fault. Note: My wife had just come off freeway, traveling 15 miles from work and 1 mile from off ramp to our home. If she had been just another 5 min on freeway traveling 65-70mph...I hate to imagine what would have happened. Please investigate this matter with Ford.

I bought this vehicle from stivers Ford in montgomery, al. On Jan. 20, 2014. This vehicle shake at low speed and high speed. I told by dealership that it would stop but it has gotten worse. This vehicle ride worst than the 2006 model I traded in.

Picked up my brand new car, Ford Escape S 2014, and had the ac system running, when I turned the ac of a strange noise was audible from the rear end of the car. I took the car back to the dealership and was told it would be an easy fix. Apparently two screws had to be tightened at the shock and suspension. After leaving the dealership with the fixed car' it took about 10 min to hear the noise again. There is obviously a problem. I will take the care back again to see what the next step is. Very disappointed.
