Twice in the last two months - 3,000 miles - my 2015 Escape has stalled and blown the fuse for the interior lights. It starts right back up thankfully. It wasn't the bad when it happened sitting at a traffic light but in May it did it traveling 65 mph on a three lane highway. It has been at the dealer ever since and they have no idea what is wrong with it. The seem to need to have it happen to them to figure it out --- not sure how they think that will help them but I expect it will take a long time using that method.

2/19 I had a new battery installed after vehicle would not start = $180.00
2/24 No problems since new battery, when driving down the road I came to a stoplight. Car started spitting, sputtering, jerking while foot on the brake while waiting at the light then it stalled, and it would not start again after placing it in park. Tried re-starting 5 x's, no good. Turned on hazard lights and after 6th time got it to run a little and pulled over to side of the road but steering worked real hard and vehicle hardly moved (crawled to the side of the road).
All kinds of chimes and warnings were going off when trying to re-start. Battery light would stay on.
Finally got vehicle started again and drove for another 25 miles to my destination. Vehicle sat in parking lot for 7 hours, started right up and drove 30 miles home without incident, other than the Engine light came on while on the way home and it has not gone off since. Is there a recall for this issue, I have seen some references to NHTSA Campaign # 15V40600?
