'16 Ford Escape keeps shutting down in mid drive. It is an intermittent problem and is becoming a safety hazard at this point. Sometimes its 40+ miles or more going up hills, but then the last time 30pmh on a flat road. It has been towed twice because we were scared to continue to drive it. So far, this has happened 4 times in the last couple months. It's been to two different mechanics. The last one was Ford, they can't seem to figure out the problem and say they can't fully diagnose unless it happens to them. They had it almost a week drove it at different times for a total of 200 miles. So far it's been best educated "guestimate" fixes which is BS we've spent around 1k so far. Relay switch, then high voltage mega fuses, neither helped. We need HELP!
